Earlier today, class schedules and teacher assignments were made available in Infinite Campus in error. Infinite Campus will be inaccessible Aug 13-14 due to a scheduled server update. Schedules and teacher assignments will be available again Aug 18. We apologize for the confusion.

Help us thank and celebrate our Hermantown teachers!  As part of Teacher Appreciation Week May 5-9, we are inviting our HCS families to send a personalized note to their favorite educators: https://www.hermantown.k12.mn.us/forms/2025-teacher-appreciation-notes We will share your thank you notes with the teacher, and will post select notes online for our school community to see. If you don't want your note shared publicly, you will have the chance to opt out.

Thank you to the NHS students who are helping out tonight at the "Taste of Hermantown" from 5-7 tonight at the AADShrine. Enjoy all you can eat samples from local eateries while supporting the Hermantown Community. Tickets $20 at the door. Children 10 and under free. Comedy show tickets come with each entry. Cash, check, and cards accepted at the door. All proceeds go to the Hermantown Legacy Fund, a charitable organization that invests in organizations and the youth of our community through grants and scholarships.

Starting September 4, students who are getting dropped off for school will exit cars starting at 8:45 a.m. and go to the front playground. Students should not be dropped off at the front playground as cars need to follow the drop-off plan. Staff will be on the front playground to monitor morning playtime. Students arriving after 8:55 a.m. will have to wait by the doors to get dismissed to class. Playground mornings will NOT happen on rainy mornings. We are going to pilot this plan from September 4- October 30. We will then determine if we can continue through the winter months.

Hermantown community representatives are working on a strategic plan for the district.

In the PM on Thursday 9/21/2023 the Arrowhead Hawk Circle entrance will be CLOSED! Students, Staff. Parents and Guardians will have to use the Ugstad/Hawk Circle Entrance/Exit.

Just a quick update on the Final Paving for both Ugstad and Arrowhead Roads. Thursday 9/21/2023, Ugstad Road Southbound will be closed @ Twin Pines Street (near Hwy 53 end of the paving) @ 7:30 to finish the paving to the South on Ugstad Road towards Hawk Circle. Hawk Circle will ONLY be accessible Northbound from Arrowhead/Ugstad intersection. Arrowhead/Hawk Circle access will accessible in the AM on Thursday 9/21/2023 also.

Saturday - West Arrowhead will be closed for paving in front of the district office. Monday - West Arrowhead will be one lane from the Elementary School to Ugstad - please allow extra time. Tuesday - Ugstad will be closed from Hwy 53 to Hawk Circle Drive. In the morning parents and students can access Hawk Circle Drive from Ugstad if coming from the South (from District office headed North on Ugstad).
