Hawks softball coach Michelle Sweeney on her team: "We had a big win against Big Lake on Saturday. I feel like we have had several players playing well. Avery Beranek (P/3B), Bryden Giesen (SS) and Violet Kalm (1B) have all been hitting the ball and playing good defense. Abby Noldin has also given us some good innings in the circle. We start the playoffs today (Tuesday) against Grand Rapids. It has been a fun season. This is a great group of young women who give it their best every game. If we play our game, we have a good chance of winning the section tournament."
